No Parachute is Bucharest’s first electronic duo couple, bringing together Livia Andrei and Valentin Ilie to craft a unique sound. Their journey has taken them across key global destinations including Tulum, Dubai, Ibiza, Bali, Toronto, Cairo, Doha, Muscat, and Mykonos, where residencies and performances in prestigious venues have shaped a sound rooted in diverse cultural influences.
Before the project began, both artists spent over a decade performing and producing individually, developing two distinct musical identities — Livia leaning toward deeper, darker melodic and techno-infused textures, while Valentin brings a warmer, groove-driven, uplifting house energy. Together, these contrasts define No Parachute: a natural balance between depth and movement, tension and release.
Their sound is built around rolling basslines, rich percussion, and expressive vocals, creating an atmosphere that feels both hypnotic and uplifting—music designed to make people move, connect, and stay in the moment. While their productions lean toward melodic and organic house, their DJ sets introduce a stronger, darker edge with techno elements, driving rhythms, and peak-time intensity, all while keeping a housey groove at the core.
Their sets focus on flow and storytelling, blending unexpected selections with organic elements and subtle cultural influences, avoiding predictable choices while keeping the dancefloor engaged.
With releases on Yulunga Music, Scandalosa Records, Sacro Music, and Make The Girls Dance, alongside projects like Calese, Burn, and the One Day In Saint Tropez EP, they’ve gained support from well known artists around the world and reached the Beatport Top 100 multiple times.
Through their Bucharest-based concept SPIRIT, they craft immersive, experience-driven events that reflect their groove, contrast, and emotional flow.
International highlights include performances at Scorpios Mynokos, Cavo Dubai, Surf Club Dubai, Nuba Bucharest, Electric Castel Festival, Untold Festival, The Lost Oracle Mauritius, Budha Bar Abu Dhabi, Buddha Bar Agadir, B-Lounge Doha, Siddharta Lounge Muscat, Coya Marbella and Nomad Toronto.
